A pair of misers live in the city
They stroll along the road
Without a care in the world
Carrying bags of gold
And oh, what a "pretty" sight to hold!
They shouted:
"Lo and behold, we are the masters of the universe
Those who in need, come to us, and we heed
A roof to sleep under? No need to wander
Just stay here but leave the gold under."
That's what the misers do
Everything comes with a price
They won't pity you
But they'll suck your blood dry like a lice
One's patting your shoulder
The other's poking you hard
They don't seem to bother
If you cry, they say, "So what?"
And that is the story
About a pair of misers, who live in the city.
